Someone who actually knows of what she speaks

This is a very interesting take on the Larry Summers hoopla, from Quantum Diaries, an all-too-rare attempt to give the Rest of Us a glimpse into the lives of physicists. Not too many people out there can intersperse their takes on motherhood with information about the flavor of muon! My new goal in life: to understand what she is talking about. First step: To try again with The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. I started it several months ago, but put it away when I realized that I needed to be getting more than 3 hours of sleep in a row to understand it. Not that I'm getting more than 3 hours of sleep in a row now, but I can hope, can't I? (Take heed, Baby Blue: Dr. Ferber looms on the horizon, once you're over this croup business.)
