Announcement: Whining carnival

Friends, pixies, lurkers. You are all invited to become a part of a new, history-making endeavor in this little corner of the internets. Mark your calendars. On December 21, join me on the whiniest Wednesday of the year for the first-ever Whining Carnival. We shall celebrate the nadir of the sun with the best whines the web has to offer. (And those of you pixies in the Southern Hemisphere can feel properly sorry for us pasty northerners while you bask in the sun.)

Needless to say, the Whining Carnival cannot happen without your help! Help me scour the internets in search of the whiniest posts. Nominate yourself; nominate your friends. Nominees don't have to be pixies (though it will help if they're not liable to be offended by their inclusion in the Whining Carnival). We must be tireless in our quest to find the whiniest that the web has to offer!
