Harry Potter open thread

By popular demand (well, OK, by Jody's demand), an open thread for speculation, anticipation, and generalized hand-wringing. As is customary with the Harry Potter threads, I'll keep it open and linked from the sidebar until it's time to replace it with the spoiler thread for HP7.

This thread is, of course, for people who have read all six books already, or who don't mind having plot points revealed from anything they haven't read.

In answer to Jody's question, I will not read the last chapter first. I'll probably get about halfway through before I'm overcome with narrative panic and have no choice but to flip through until the end. Either that or I'll read the entire book in one mindless sprint, such that I'll remember nothing afterwards EXCEPT for how it ends. Then I'll go back and read the whole thing at a pace more compatible with thought and reflection.

Also? I plan to fuel my all-nighter with a pint of Ben and Jerry's, not chocolate chips.

Anyone feeling excited about the upcoming movie? I have to admit that we still haven't seen the fourth movie, and so will probably not get around to using precious babysitter time on the fifth.

One last question for the floor: how much, if any, rereading are you planning to do before the release of HP7?
